About Our Speakers
Meg Lemon, APD is an Accredited Practising Dietitian at SASI, and a two-time medal winning Paralympian with a passion for helping athletes and active individuals optimise their performance through evidence-based nutrition. As a member of Australia's Paralympic team, Meg has firsthand experience balancing the demands of elite sport, training, recovery and competition. Drawing on both her professional expertise and lived sporting experience, she works across sports nutrition, disability sport and athlete wellbeing, translating science into practical strategies that support performance and long-term health. Meg is a sought-after speaker who brings an engaging and relatable perspective on fuelling success both on and off the field.
Dr Dean Miller is a sleep and performance scientist whose research focuses on sleep, circadian rhythms, recovery and human performance. A Senior Lecturer and Graduate Research Lead at the Appleton Institute, he has extensive experience working with athletes, high-performance teams and industry partners to optimise sleep and manage the impacts of travel, training and competition. Dean’s research has examined jet lag countermeasures, athlete recovery, wearable sleep technologies and the relationship between sleep and performance. He has worked with Australian Olympic and Paralympic teams to develop evidence-based strategies for managing travel fatigue and circadian disruption, helping athletes perform at their best on the world stage.
Venue Information
This event will be held on level 14 of the Flinders University City Campus. Enter through the main doors, and take the escalator to level 1. From here, a committee representative will assist you with accessing level 14.

There is nearby paid parking available at the Adelaide Festival Centre. The venue is easily accessible via Adelaide Metro public transport, with bus, train, and tram stops located nearby.
