Easter with the Equest Bunny

There is a wonderful Easter Egg Hunt Event coming to the Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding on Saturday, April 4, 2026. If you are looking for a day of breakfast treats, face-painting, horse-drawn wagon rides, Easter egg hunts, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, live music, and meeting all kinds of therapy horses big and small, then come on out to Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding’s 22nd Annual “Easter with the Equest Bunny” event. This incredible event will keep the kids moving, having a blast, and is sure to be different from all the rest!

Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding, located on 35 acres of land in Rockford, MI, is a year-round facility offering equine-based therapy to those with physical, mental and social/emotional challenges. The Equest Center serves over 200 individuals ages 2 - 100+ each week. Proceeds from this event will fund scholarship for special kids and adults in need.

“Easter with the Equest Bunny” is open to the entire community RAIN, SNOW, OR SHINE with activities both inside and out!

Info: Arts & crafts for the kids in the indoor arena

Info: Have your picture taken with Equest's Horse Bunnies! This booth is run by the 4-H Group Leather and Lace to benefit Equest Center!

Info: A full petting zoo for you to meet and greet including baby animals!

Info: Wagon Rides will stop at 11:30 when the egg hunts are held and resume after until 1:00 PM

Info: We have multiple Egg Hunts for those of all abilities. Guests may choose which 1 Egg hunt they would like to be a part of. The 0-4 year old Hunt will begin at 11:30 am with the others following 1 by one after. Only one egg hunt will occur at a time so families with multiple children will be able to see all of their kids in action!
