The Easter Sunrise Service on The Mound will be held on Easter Sunday, April 5, beginning at 6:45 am. We suggest arriving between 6:00-6:15 am to allow for time to park and make your way to the top. Women of Flower Mound and Summit Club will be handing out coffee and doughnuts as you arrive. Trinity Presbyterian will be the celebrant this year.Remember that The Flower Mound is a native prairie, so we suggest you save your Easter Sunday best for later in the day and instead wear long pants and close-toed shoes to the service. Note that The Mound was burned about a month ago, and although it has rained and it’s greening up, some ash may remain. Feel free to bring chairs or blankets to sit on.
