Join us for a fun and interactive two-day workshop designed to extend on students knowledge in the exciting world of LEGO Spike Prime robotics and coding. Aimed at students aged 8–14, this hands-on experience runs on the 14th and 15th of April from 9:00am to 1:00pm each day at the Peregian Digital Hub.
Throughout the workshop, participants will learn more advanced coding and programs that utilize the sensors and hardware on the robots in various wasy. They’ll build on their knowledge of block-based coding, tackle engaging challenges, and extend essential problem-solving and teamwork skills in a supportive and creative environment. This workshop is recommended for students with prior experience with LEGO SPIKE Prime, or have attended one of our previous workshops. Please note that this course does not include building onto the robots with LEGO bricks/pieces. The robots used in this workshop are called LEGO Spike Prime.
Students must bring their own laptop or tablet, though a limited number of loan laptops will be available on the day if needed. A single $85 ticket covers both days of the class for one student.
Whether your child is new to robotics or building on existing skills, this is a fantastic introduction to hands-on STEM learning.
