Presented by Mike's Carwash
Celebrate an "Egg-citing" Easter at the Wildest Venue in Cincinnati!
Hop over to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden on Saturday, April 4, 2026, for our annual Easter Celebration! This family-favorite event, presented by Mike's Carwash, combines the beauty of spring blooms with festive holiday activities.
Unlike a traditional scramble, our celebration features Treat Stations scattered throughout the zoo and Easter-themed enrichment for our animals. Watch as elephants, otters, and primates discover their own "eggs" while your little ones collect treats and meet the Easter Bunny.
Event Highlights:
- Treat Stations: Children can collect sweets at various stations located throughout the park.
- Animal Enrichment: Watch your favorite animals enjoy special Easter-themed treats and egg hunts of their own.
- Meet the Easter Bunny: Visit the Clubhouse (located by the Safari Train) from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM for photos with the Bunny.
- Golden Egg Hunt: Keep your eyes peeled! Search for the hidden "Golden Eggs" around the zoo for a chance to win spectacular prizes.
- Go Green: To help the zoo's conservation efforts, please bring your own reusable treat bag!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Is there an additional cost for the Easter Celebration?
No! The Easter Celebration is included with your standard Zoo Admission or your Zoo Membership.
2. Is there a traditional egg hunt for kids?
Rather than a "timed scramble" on a field, we host Treat Stations throughout the park. This allows families to enjoy the zoo at their own pace and ensures every child gets plenty of treats without the rush.
3. Where can we find the Easter Bunny?
The Easter Bunny will be available for photos and greetings in the Clubhouse, located near the Safari Train entrance, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
4. What should we bring?
In an effort to be environmentally friendly, the zoo does not provide bags. Please bring your own reusable basket or bag for your children to collect treats at the various stations.
5. What is "Animal Enrichment"?
It is a vital part of animal care! During the celebration, keepers provide animals with eggs (some made of ice, some filled with snacks) to encourage natural foraging behaviors. It’s a great way to see the animals active and engaged!
6. Does the event happen if it rains?
Yes, the Easter Celebration is a rain-or-shine event. Many treat stations and animal viewing areas are sheltered, but we recommend dressing for the weather.
7. Can we buy tickets at the gate?
The Cincinnati Zoo currently uses timed-entry ticketing. We strongly recommend purchasing your admission tickets online in advance to guarantee entry, as holiday weekends often sell out.
