About this Event
Situated between Livingston and Blackburn, Easter Breich Wood is a mosaic habitat of woodland, grassland and waterways. It is home to Roe Deer, numerous butterlies and moths and a diverse range of other wildlife.
On this visit we will be helping to clear the ponds on the site to prevent them being completely choked
We encourage volunteers to use our minibus for transport. If you live near this task and wish to make your own way you must ring Debbie on 07510959496 to book a space and for joining instructions.
Please bring your lunch and wear appropriate footwear (boots or wellingtons) and waterproof outdoor clothing.
NEW VOLUNTEERS Please only book one task initially. If you do not attend without letting us know, we may cancel any additional task bookings. If you are under 18 you will need to be accompanied by a guardian. Please contact us to discuss arrangements for volunteering with us , or whether other organisations might be more appropriate.
