EASTER BONNET PROMENADE
A New York Tradition, Reimagined for San Francisco
For generations, Fifth Avenue has transformed on Easter Sunday into a living runway of millinery, elegance, and social ritual. This spring, that tradition crosses the country.
On April 5, Washington Square Park sidewalks and pathways will become San Francisco’s stage for a refined Easter Bonnet Promenade. Not a parade. Not a spectacle. A curated afternoon of style, civility, and presence.
This is a promenade in the truest sense. A gathering to see and be seen. To greet neighbors. To admire craftsmanship. To honor the ritual of dressing with intention.
Expect:
• Extraordinary bonnets, from heirloom to avant-garde
• Tailored suiting, silk, gloves, florals, and disciplined excess
• Portrait moments and roaming content capture
• Gentle pageantry without barricades or floats
• A room without walls, framed by the architecture of North Beach
You are invited to participate, not spectate.
Design a bonnet. Revive one. Commission a milliner. Or simply arrive impeccably dressed. There is no stage, because the city is the stage.

The Easter Bonnet Promenade unfolds in Washington Square Park, the historic green at the heart of North Beach. Framed by Saints Peter and Paul Church and the surrounding architecture of old San Francisco, the park’s open-air scale and civic elegance support the afternoon’s emphasis on style, ritual, and human connection.
