Join us this Easter for springtime fun at our Farm and Forest School, where every day brings fresh air, friendly animals and plenty of adventure! With indoor and covered areas available, we’re ready for whatever the spring weather brings ☀️🌦️
🌼 Things to do...
🐴 Meet, feed and spend time with our donkeys, goats and other farm favourites, discovering what life on the farm looks like in spring.
🌲 Explore the forest area with its nest swing, hammock and mud kitchen, get creative with seasonal crafts 🎨, or try your hand at simple woodworking projects 🔨 to take home.
🔥 Gather around the fire circle to practise fire skills, cook tasty treats and help prepare lunch while learning about healthy food and where it comes from 🥗
🥚 Head off on an Easter egg hunt, play team games 🤸, build, create, explore and see where the day takes us.
Every session is a little different, with lots of fun, hands-on learning and plenty of memories to make 💛

Price: £30.00 per child, includes a hot lunch freshly prepared over the fire, all the woodcrafts and novelty craft items made to take home.
Free HAF FSM places: Funded by the WSCC Holidays and Activities Grant free spaces are available for eligible free school meal children. What to bring along and wear:
- A refillable/filled water bottle
- Weather appropriate clothes and footwear for farm and outdoor environments.
- Waterproofs
My child has food allergies: There is a section on the order form to complete with any food allergies. If you would like to discuss any food allergies or other requirements further please do get in touch.
Can I attend with my child? Unfortunately these sessions are drop off only.
Cancellation and refund policy: If in the unfortunate event we are unable to run the session we contact everyone as soon as possible and paid for places will be offered a full refund. Unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund or transfer to another date if your child is unable to attend.
What happens if the weather is bad? We will continue the session in most weathers and have use of a communal greenhouse to run activities in if needed. If we need to cancel the session due to weather warnings we will offer everyone a refund.
Where is Applefield? Applefield is a small private smallholding in Sidlesham, near Chichester.
What are the facilities? There is a composting toilet, running water and hand washing facilities. Parking is free and is either in the farmyard or field, dependant on weather.
Your information and how we use it: At time of booking we require some information about you and your child, for example allergies, alternative needs or special requirements, first aid, email and emergency contact phone number. This information is only kept for the duration of the course or event and your contact number will only be used by us in the event of an emergency arising with your child or if we need to contact attendees prior to the event to give extra information. If you consent for us to use your email to contact about future events, this will only be used by Woodland Wonders (we do not pass these details onto any other 3rd party) and will be used only to send details of other events run by Woodland Wonders that we think you may be interested in. If you consent for photos to be used, these will only be used for our Facebook page, website and promotional purposes only and are not passed onto anyone else.
