Where are you located?
Our address is 2707 West Pike Rd. Indiana PA 15701 and we are just across the road from the West Pike Citizen's Ambulance Station and The Fountains Nursing Home. Heading west, we are just past the YMCA on the right hand side.
What is the parking situation?
We have plenty of off street parking in our paved parking lot.
What do you offer for my kids?
Your babies - 5th graders are welcome to attend Summit Kids Church! We think your kids are amazing and precious to Jesus; that's why we work so hard to make their experience FUN and engaging by tailoring the lessons, music, and activities to their age group. Also, we are happy to offer Summit Haven during our Sunday 10am service, which includes a sensory room and 1:1 buddies for kids with extra needs. How do I know my child is safe with you?
That is a great question and means you're a good parent! We take safety seriously and handle your kids safety as if they were our own. All of our volunteers have had background checks + clearances, our Security Team monitors the area closely, and children are only released to parents with a matching pickup tag when its time to go home. We also regularly practice fire drills so our team is ready if an emergency arises. We also have a MET team (Medical Emergency Team) on call during every service. If your child needs you, we will call or text you to come to the Kids Wing during service.
What if I have a crying baby with me in service?
We love having babies with us at church! If your baby is especially fussy and becoming a distraction to those around you, simply go out to the lobby or moms can visit our private Nursing Mothers Room in the Kids Check In area.
What do I wear?
Come as you are! A lot of people like to dress up for Easter for family pictures at our photo backdrops, but we have people that also just like to show up in jeans and a Tshirt. Either is fine and we believe that God cares more about the inside than what's on the outside!
Can I take communion if I'm not a member? Yes, we practice open communion and welcome all followers of Jesus to take communion with us this Easter.
Can I bring my coffee into service with me? Yes, please make yourself at home! We love you more than our carpet, and we have a pretty awesome facility team too.
