About this Event
Welcome to our Film Discussion Series!
Join us for a two-week film and dialogue series.
How do systemic power structures shape the stories we tell about those who cross borders? This workshop series moves beyond the headlines to examine the intersection of immigration policy, racial hierarchy, and the enduring influence of White Supremacy.
Over two sessions, we will view the Docuseries: United Shades of America by W. Kamau Bell as a mirror to reflect on our history and a lens to envision a more equitable future.
This is a brave space for active listening, critical self-reflection, and rigorous honesty. No prior expertise is required—only an open mind and a commitment to justice.
