About this Event
The event will feature local food vendors, jewelry, clothing, and other service vendors with family activities in the public area. The festival will feature both large and small group performances. Over 100 dancers from around the world, including different forms such as Indian folk, Bollywood, African dance forms, Flamenco dance, Belly Dance, and more.
The East-West Music & Dance Festival is supported by a CAIG Events Partnership Grant from the Cultural Arts Commission, part of the Arts Council of Hillsborough County. Spend your Sunday soaking up the sights and sounds from all corners of the globe at the City of Tampa’s Water Works Park, a riverfront park with a large bandshell for performances, wide-open green space, covered and shaded picnic areas, a playground and splash pad, even a dog park. The park is adjacent to the City of Tampa’s Riverwalk, a 2.6-mile pedestrian trail along the Hillsborough River. Many vendors are available for ethnic food, jewelry, clothing, massages, and arts.
