Starting June 4, the East Bay Corners Farmers Market will be held weekly on Thursdays from 2:00β6:00 PM at East Bay Township Offices outside (1965 N. 3 Mile Road, Traverse City), the East Bay Corners Farmers Market has become a welcoming gathering place for residents to shop local, enjoy fresh foods, and connect with neighbors.
The market continues to grow through a partnership between East Bay Township and SEEDS Ecology & Education Centers, which manages the market and brings extensive experience supporting local food systems. Together, we aim to create a vibrant marketplace that supports regional agriculture and small businesses while strengthening the community.
The market also offers family-friendly programming throughout the season, including the Power of Produce (POP) Club, which encourages children ages 5β13 to learn about healthy eating and gardening while interacting with local farmers and producers. Participants receive a weekly coupon to spend at the market, helping inspire the next generation of farmers market shoppers. Sign up at eastbaytwp.org
The East Bay Corners Farmers Market proudly accepts SNAP/EBT benefits and will also participate in the Grand Traverse County Senior Produce Program this year, helping ensure fresh, local food is accessible to all members of the community.
