About this Event
What is forest bathing? It is a nature connection practice that helps you attune to your senses through a series of invitations so you can connect with the natural world! The walks are slow-paced and silent for the most part with opportunities to share your experience with fellow participants. It's a great way to find some rest and relaxation while exploring the outdoors and connecting with your community (both human and more than human)!
The walk will be 2.5-3 hours so please dress for the weather:
- Layers are highly recommended!
- Please wear hiking/running shoes for the walk.
- The path is fairly easy and mostly flat. The side trails are a bit bumpy with rocks and roots sticking out of the ground but walkable.
- There will be sections of the walk where we will be sitting on the ground.
- Sitting pads and blankets will be provided.
- Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
Registration is required to attend. Maximum number of participants will be 10. This is a pay what you can event. Register for free or you can donate any amount you wish. Suggested donation is $10 but please choose what works for you.
A little bit about me. My name is Sana and I'm a Certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Global Institute of Forest Therapy (GIFT). I love to spend a lot of time in nature and connect to the local flora and fauna. I hope to help individuals find some stillness and peace from the daily grind with guided forest therapy walks.
I hope to see you there!
I launched Wild Earth Kinship in 2025 as an invitation to rewild through art, forest therapy and mindfulness. Learn more about my work and mission here.
