We're teaming up with Hoosic River Revival for our first big cleanup of the year to celebrate Earth Month! You may know that H.R.R. has been working hard on increasing access to and engagement with the Hoosic River, and one of their big projects is the development and promotion of a community walking loop trail along the river atop the berms behind Noel Field.
To help support them in preparing the area, we'll be cleaning up litter in multiple locations along that loop!
There will be something for everyone, whether you're looking to really dig in and get dirty and help us haul out some big trash, or a casual stroll with some light litter picking is more your speed.
Bring your friends, bring your kids, and join us in caring for our natural spaces!
Start time: 12pm
End time: When the litter's all cleaned up, or 3pm, whichever comes first!
Rain date: Sunday, April 26th. Same time, same place.
Parking at Noel Field.
We'll have some bags, rubber gloves, and litter grabbers, but definitely bring your own if you have them.
More details will be added as the date approaches!
