Join Sustainable Applewood and Sustainable Morse Park at our neighborhood Earth Day celebration! Since Lakewood is not hosting an Earth Day this year, we decided to throw a party….This event has free admission. Food trucks and ice cream will be there so bring cash. (Free ice cream for kids). Credit cards may be accepted by some of the vendors.
At this initial planning stage, in addition to the food trucks and ice cream, we will have seed giveaways, kids’ activities, compost information, coyote information, Bee Safe signs, recycling resources, community information, giveaways from local businesses and more!
We will also be collecting hard to recyclable items like pens, magic markers, dry erase markers, pencils and wine corks.
