SAVE THE DATE!Our first Family Bike Ride of the year is almost here:
The Earth Day Bike Ride is SUNDAY April 26th at 10 AM!
Meet friends and Neighbors at 10 AM at North Four Corners Park (211 Southwood Avenue) for complimentary coffee, donuts from our friends at The Woodmoor Pastry Shop, and other treats to share with those in attendance, courtesy once again of the NFCCA Board.
We will roll out at 10:30 a.m. with a warm up loop around the park and head down towards Sligo Creek Parkway and back at a relaxed pace bike for a ride of approximately four miles. The SAG wagon will be following the group in the event a rider needs a pick up to get back to the park.
We have important rules to keep us as safe as possible: kids should ride their bicycles along and to the right of their responsible adult to keep our younger riders at safe distance from the vehicular traffic. We also ask you to not ride ahead of the leader wearing the neon vest at the front of the group, and please wait for the green light and the go-ahead to cross University and Dennis as a group, lastly we ask that riders keep the pace and stay in formation.
This event welcomes all! It is always fun to have neighbors that come not necessarily to ride but to hang with us at the park so whether you are a rider or not we hope that you can join us and don’t forget we also have rides in mid July and last Sunday of October!
