About this Event
We will also introduce you to the iNaturalist community science app where you can upload photos of your plant, animal and fungi observations from the walk as part of the City Nature Challenge!
Please download iNaturalist and create your free account in advance. If you would like help getting started with iNaturalist then show up 15 minutes before the nature walk and an iNaturalist Ambassador will be there to teach you how to use the app to make observations.
This walk is being led by Kathleen, a very knowledgeable naturalist that loves to share her passion for nature. Check out her YouTube channel Hiking With Kathleen for engaging videos that highlight her hiking, paddling, and camping adventures across Ontario.
We will meet at the trail entrance at 20 Grainsborough Rd. Parking is available on the side of the road.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. This hike will be on uneven terrain and is not wheelchair accessible.
Please note that this path includes many stairs which may be difficult for some participants.
