Dan Fitzpatrick - How can AI transform education?
Author of The AI Classroom. A Tech Champion, Edu futurist, and Digital Skills Strategist. With an M.A. from Durham University, a PGCE from UCL, and a Diploma in Design Thinking & Innovation from MIT, Dan is a force to be reckoned with. As the author of ‘The AI Classroom’; he is a leading voice in the AI education revolution. Dan’s work has earned him the Tech Champion Award at the Digital Industry Dynamite Awards 2022 and a spot in the prestigious EdTech50. As the Strategic Lead for Digital Skills at Education Partnership North East and a Di- rector at Edu futurists, he’s driving change in the education sector. But it’s not just his experience that makes Dan a compelling figure; it’s his passion for empowering students and teachers alike to thrive in the digital age.
Kathryn Morgan - Professional Development & Learning - systems and structures that support professional growth.
Kathryn is the Senior Capacity Improvement Advisor for the Teaching School Hubs Council. She leads the design, development and quality assurance of the TSH Support Programme. Kathryn ensures the programme keeps pace with the evolving policy landscape and hubs’ role within it and enables hubs to successfully meet their DfE Conditions of Designation. Kathryn is a former primary Deputy Head Teacher, MAT Director of Professional Development, Chair of Governors and charity trustee. Having previously worked at Ambition Institute (Associate Dean for Learning Design) and the Teacher Development Trust (Head of Leadership Development), Kathryn is passionate about working in the field of teacher and leader education. With a keen interest in organisational development and understanding the enabling conditions for growth, Kathryn is an accredited Fierce Conversations coach and has worked with many schools to help them maximise the impact of their professional conversations. Kathryn is currently studying an MA in Educational Leadership at the University of Gloucestershire, where she is also a Research Associate, as well as working on an ERASMUS+ project.
Lekha Sharma - Getting the leadership and learning culture right in challenging times.
Lekha is a School Improvement Lead for the Avanti Schools Trust, leading on curriculum and assessment and has over ten years of experience teaching and leading in schools in a range of contexts. She is a postgraduate student at the University of Oxford studying Learning and Teaching and is also the author of Curricuum to Classroom (John Catt 2020). Lekha is passionate about making educational research accessible and digestible, allowing leaders and teachers to focus on applying the 'best bets' on the ground within their unique contexts
