April 18th, 3-6pm: Tree planting and cleanup.We will be hosting a volunteer event to plant trees and bushes along the river bank and open area at Dutch Fisher Park in Hazelwood(Waynesville). The park was badly flooded by Hurricane Helene and needs bank shoring and shade. We will also be doing a cleanup of the river and nearby greenway. Register to attend
April 22nd, 5:30-7pm: flash Earth Day cleanup
We will be gathering for a flash cleanup to beautify our area. Location TBD.
April 24th: Home Energy Efficiency Upgrade
We will be partnering with Energy Savers Network to make efficiency improvement to a low-income home in Canton. EAC volunteer slots are already full, however if you would like to volunteer for future home energy workdays, send an email to Kipp [email protected]
