Show & Tell: Charms of the Natural World
Following our recent talk with Liz Dean on Nature’s Hidden Charms, we’re inviting you to step a little deeper into the quiet magic of the world around us.
Liz guided us into the subtle language of nature — the meanings held within stones, feathers, leaves, herbs, and the whispered currents of the land. She reminded us that these simple, often overlooked treasures can become powerful personal talismans… a form of everyday oracle.
Now it’s time to bring that into practice.
For this moot, we invite you to bring along a charm — something you’ve found, been gifted, or long held — and share its story.
How did it come to you?
What does it mean?
How did it speak?
Perhaps it’s something discovered since Liz’s talk… or perhaps it’s a piece you’ve carried for years. All are welcome, all are valid, and every story holds its own kind of magic.
Come and share, listen, and deepen your connection to the unseen threads that weave through the natural world.
All are welcome.
Doors open: 7:00 pm
Evening begins: 7:30 pm (with a short talk or activity)
Venue: Upstairs at The Head of Steam, Durham
When: Every 1st Tuesday of the month
