As we enter the blossoming month of May, we align with the golden fire of the third chakra, the solar plexus—Manipura, the luminous jewel of inner power. This is the season when the Earth Mother awakens in fullness… when blossoms unfurl, when green life stretches toward the sun, and when the sacred fire within us asks to be seen, claimed, and embodied. 🔥
This gathering is an initiation into your radiance. 🌅
The solar plexus is the seat of transformation, self-trust, sovereignty, and divine will. Like the sun, it illuminates our path with courage, clarity, and warmth☀️ When balanced, it gifts us with confidence, discernment, vitality, and the sacred ability to bring our visions into form. When imbalanced, we may feel small, uncertain, or silenced… or conversely, overwhelmed by intensity, striving, or control.
Together, we will gently tend this inner fire. 💥
We will call upon the fierce and compassionate presence of Durga, She who rides the lion, She who destroys illusion, She who restores us to our truth. Through Her grace, this becomes not just a gathering—but a threshold crossing, a remembering of your sacred strength. 🦁
Within our circle, we will:
• Enter a Ritual of Empowerment
• Practice an Empowerment Kriya
• Share through the sacred “talking flower”
• Nourish our bodies with delectable food, healing teas, and sweet offerings
• Cleanse with sage and sweetgrass
• Bask in candlelight, flowers, and sacred ceremony
• Sing and chant in Sanskrit and open our voices
• Journey with live music such as harmonium, guitar and drumming
• Chant to Durga in her many forms
• Explore the wisdom of the third chakra (Manipura) 💛
• Receive Tantric teachings
• Move in devotion through yoga and/or dance
• Honor the sacred breath through pranayama & Kundalini
This is a space to soften, to strengthen, to ignite, to remember. 🌅
Please enjoy wearing yellow, bring your journal, pen, a shawl or blanket, your water bottle, and a nourishing dish infused with your love—something bright, yellow, golden, vibrant, or heartfelt. Trust what you are called to share. 🍋
Healthy yellow-colored foods include bananas, yellow peppers, yellow squash, corn, yellow lentils, Yukon gold potatoes 🌽
Complex carbohydrates such as spelt, oats, buckwheat, lentils, brown rice, beans 🫘
Healthy foods with fiber like nuts, seeds, flaxseed meal, vegetables, lentils 🥬
To support the healing of the solar plexus, you may feel drawn to wear yellow or bring stones such as malachite, jasper, tiger’s eye, citrine, yellow tourmaline, golden beryl, or rhodochrosite. Essential oils like rose, sandalwood, chamomile, rosemary, myrrh, and frankincense may also deepen your experience. Bring them in a container for your individual breathing in. Abstain from wearing all scents, especially patchouli. Thank you! 🙏
