About this Event
Welcome all adventurers aged 13-17!
We welcome you to our week long summer camp! Come with an open mind to learn all about the world of Dungeons and Dragons.
Throughout this weeklong campaign you will learn the ins and outs of the tabletop role playing game Dungeons and Dragons. You will also get the opportunity to craft your own character, learn about 3D Printing and choose your very own model to have 3D printed. You will learn how to paint 3D printed miniatures, and finally get the opportunity to bring your character to life in a final campaign mission.
Participants do not need any prior experience with Dungeons and Dragons. We will supply everything required to play. You are welcome to bring your own set of dice if you wish.
Please note this is a week long camp. If you cannot attend all dates please let us know ahead of time.
The schedule will be as follows:
Monday July 10 1:00pm-4:00pm: Your first taste of Dungeons and Dragons
Participants will get to choose from a series of pre-made characters to play through their first campaign mission. They will get a general understanding of the mechanics of the game, and have a fun and relaxing session exploring the world of Faerun with their fellow adventurers.
Tuesday July 11 1:00pm-4:00pm: Crafting Your Character
On the second day participants will take a deep dive into the world of character creation. You will choose all the features of your character as well as craft a unique backstory to bring your character to life.
Participants will receive a brief introduction to 3D Printing, and finally they will select a miniature to represent themselves on the tabletop.
Thursday July 13 1:00pm-4:00pm: Bringing Your Miniature to Life
On the third day participants will be given their 3D Printed Miniature. We will then walk participants through the process of painting their models using acrylic paints and inks.
Friday July 14 1:00pm-4:00pm: The Final Mission
On the final day of the camp participants will get one last chance to enter the world of Faerun. Our Adventurers will assemble from across the realm and bring their characters to life, facing off against one final challenge!
