Perfect for learner licence holders, restricted licence riders on LAMS bikes, or anyone preparing for licence progression. Also ideal if you've been sitting on your restricted licence for a while, or need training for overseas licence conversion.
π Your Day Schedule
1. π Morning Session - Building Foundation Skills
The day starts with a comprehensive classroom session covering essential riding theory. You'll watch demonstration videos of key techniques including emergency braking, slow speed control, and cornering. We'll discuss observation skills, road positioning, hazard awareness, pre-ride bike checks, and protective riding gear.
Your helmet will be fitted with communication equipment before we head out on the road.
2. ποΈ Practical Training - Morning Ride
We begin with slow speed practice in a car park. Slow speed control builds real confidence - any moron can twist the throttle to 100 kph, but slow speed skills separate competent riders from the rest. These skills are addictive and fun, and you'll soon be hooked.
Next comes braking practice. There's no point riding a motorcycle if you can't stop it correctly. Learning effective emergency braking techniques could literally save your life one day.
3. ποΈ Urban Riding Practice
You'll practice riding in built-up areas with your instructor alongside you, providing real-time guidance through helmet communication. Your instructor will lead to demonstrate techniques, then follow to observe and coach your progress.
4. π½οΈ Lunch Break
Time to refuel! We'll stop at a cafΓ© along the route, or bring your own sandwich if you prefer.
5. π£οΈ Afternoon Session - Advanced Skills
After lunch, we head into higher speed zones to focus on cornering lines, observational skills, hazard detection, bike control, and managing different road situations.
6. π¬ Debrief & Next Steps
Around 3pm, we return to urban areas to reinforce city riding skills before heading back to base for your debrief. You'll receive detailed feedback on your riding, advice on areas to focus on next, and guidance on licence progression and further training options.

β Essential Requirements:
β° Arrive 5 minutes early (better than 1 minute late!)
πͺͺ Valid driving licence (no licence = no ride)
β½ Full tank of fuel
ποΈ Bike with current WOF, registration, and L plates if required
π§ Check your tyre pressures (seriously, CHECK YOUR TYRE PRESSURES)
π§οΈ Waterproof gear if you have it - we ride in all weather
