Dumpling-kvöld með Bao Bao Yum Cha 🥢Fyrir þau sem ekki þekkja hana er Lea fædd í Kanada og hefur búið á Íslandi í tæpan áratug. Matargerðarlist hennar mótast af arfinum fra Kanton og á rætur að rekja til bragðtegundanna sem hún ólst upp við hjá ömmu sinni.
Árið 2021 stofnaði hún skyndiviðburðinn Bao Bao Yum Cha, með bao-bollur, dumplings og fleira dim-sum góðgæti. Hún segir: „Þetta snýst allt um einfaldan og notalegan mat sem eflir tengslin manna á milli."
Það verður aldeilis spennandi að fá hana til okkar til þessarar Dumpling-kvöldi. 🤩

Dumpling Night with Bao Bao Yum Cha 🥢
For those who don’t know her yet, Lea is Canadian-born and has been based in Iceland for nearly a decade. Her cooking is deeply inspired by her Cantonese heritage, rooted in the flavors she grew up enjoying with her grandmother.
In 2021, she launched the pop-up Bao Bao Yum Cha, sharing buns, dumplings, and other beloved dim sum favorites. As she puts it, “It’s about simple, comforting food that brings people together.”
We’re beyond excited to welcome her for this special Dumpling Night edition. 🤩
