This is going to to be a wonderful weekend of hard work, learning, laughing and making a wonderful Duchess Coat.it is 2 full days, 9am start on Saturday until we finish and same Sunday - not for the feint hearted and def not a beginners class.
Saturday - pattern cutting measuring, making all the adjustments, making muslins, remaking and getting a perfectly fitting pattern. We will then cut out all the fabric for main coat and liner.
Sunday - construction of the coat.
Fabric- King sized flat sheet or duvet for the muslin, as cheap as possible.
outer- wool, linen, gabardine, waterproof, soft shell, good quality duvet ( think IKEA, John Lewis )
Liner - anything suitable that coordinates
Fastenings of your choice .
Very limited places, absolute maximum of 4 over weekend as there will be a lot of adjustments.
£160 for the weekend, this includes light lunch , snacks, endless tea and hugs. You will have all my help in making the correct adjustments :)
£80 deposit secures the space
