About this Event
What if the missing piece to your peace isn't more self-care chores, but pure, unadulterated play?
If you've been feeling a heavy sense of identity drift—feeling like you are constantly over-functioning for everyone else while losing your own spark—you don't need another slide deck, lecture, or networking hour. You need a playground.
Welcome to Play Lab.
This June, we are taking our screen-free sanctuary outdoors into the fresh air of the park!
Play Lab is a 120-minute experiential sanctuary designed to help your mind settle, your nervous system reset, and your real-world relationships improve naturally. Unrestricted play acts as a mirror, helping you spot your hidden patterns (like over-functioning, perfectionism, or control). By uncovering these traits in our natural sandbox, you gain immediate, actionable awareness you can take home to improve how you communicate, set boundaries, and connect with partners, colleagues, and friends.
Our June Park Experience features our signature theme: Bubbles & Breath. Here is how our 6-step journey unfolds under the open sky.
The Experience Agenda
Step 1: The Threshold (Unplug & Empty)
Arrive, silence your phone, and step away from your screens. Write your First Name Only on a name tag—no job titles, family roles, or professional labels allowed.
- The Plate Shred: Write down your heaviest mental burdens and demands on a paper plate, then physically rip it to shreds. It’s a sensory and highly satisfying release to clear your mental slate.
Step 2: Somatic Breath Reset (Grounding)
Lying on blankets on the fresh grass, looking up at the sky, we use gentle, sensory-based somatic breathing to ground your body, soothe your nervous system, and transition your mind into a state of absolute presence.
Step 3: Unrestricted Recess (Featuring: Interactive Bubbles!)
The school bell rings and Recess begins! Let your logical, over-functioning brain go quiet.
- The Bubble Playground: Step into a sensory bubble playground using custom ropes and wands. With no rules, no performance anxiety, and total permission to "do it wrong," you can bypass perfectionism and just play. (Note: We introduce a brand-new play activity every month to keep the experience fresh!)
Step 4: Deep Reflection (Guided Group Coaching)
Gather in a cozy grass circle to look into the mirror of play. We’ll discuss what felt easy, what felt surprisingly hard, and what unspoken "adult rules" popped up when you tried to focus on just playing. This is a safe container to gently untangle your real-world relational patterns.
Step 5: The Integration Blueprint (The Play-to-Life Bridge)
Translate your play breakthroughs directly into real-life action. Every participant maps out a personal transformation card on a clipboard:
- The Self-Discovery: Identify what your play behaviors revealed about you.
- The Target Connection: Choose one relationship (at home, work, or community) you want to improve.
- The Micro-Action: Commit to one concrete, manageable action to take this week to show up differently.
Step 6: Settle & Anchor (The Somatic Close)
Close our sanctuary with a short somatic breathing exercise to integrate your realizations. Commit to your micro-action, retrieve your phone, and receive a smooth, custom-painted river stone to take home as a physical anchor for your promise.
What You Will Gain by Attending:
- Instant Lightness: Shed the heavy weight of your daily responsibilities.
- Nervous System Regulation: Shift out of "fight-or-flight" and into grounded safety.
- Genuine Connection: Build authentic relationships through shared laughter and unmasked conversation.
- Better Relationships: Take home a micro-action plan to instantly improve how you connect with others.
