About the Workshop
Kick off the new year with creativity!
Join us for a relaxed, drop-in embroidery workshop where you'll learn to create your very own embroidered patch with artist and designer Katie Wells (@katie_wells_). Perfect for beginners or experienced stitchers looking to try something new, this session covers all the basics you’ll need to start patch-making.
How It Works
Drop-In Format: This workshop is free to attend and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. We do ask that you support the small businesses at Elephant Stores by buying a drink from the cafe while at the workshop and having a browse of our lovely shop!-
Session Length: Each drop-in session lasts around an hour, allowing time for everyone to receive guidance and complete their patch. If we’re not at full capacity, feel free to stay longer!
Physical Sign-Up on Arrival: Booking here on Eventbrite simply registers your interest. To confirm a spot, arrive early and sign up on the physical sheet at the venue. Once spots are filled, attendees may have to wait until the next available opening.
What’s Included
All materials for your patch are included, so just bring yourself and a bit of creative spirit! If you’d like to continue stitching at home, we’ll have hoops, embroidery floss, and other materials available for purchase during the workshop.
Important Details
First-Come, First-Served: Spaces are limited to ensure everyone receives individual guidance. Arriving early will increase your chance of securing a spot.
