Schedule for the day:
-Door open for VIP pass holders 10am
-VIP Hour for our local food and beverage business owners (10-11 AM): An exclusive hour for the brands behind Charlotte Beverage Distibution to connect with bar/restaurant owners and beverage managers. This hour will provide an intimate setting to meet the founders/representatives behind each non-alcoholic brand. This presents the opportunity to ask questions and get to know each brand in more depth.
-Doors open for the general public (10:45)
- Welcome & Introductions (11:00 - 11:30): Gather together as a group as we kick off the event with warm welcomes and introductions to set the tone for the day.
Workshops (1 - 4 PM):
1. Open Talk with a Mental Health Therapist: Explore topics of anxiety and depression, addressing underlying issues often associated with heavy drinking.
2. Tasting Tour: Embark on a sensory journey through a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, from over 15 brands from around the world.
3. Cocktail Making Class sponsored by Ritual Zero Proof: Learn the art of crafting delicious and inventive non-alcoholic cocktails, guided by expert mixologists.
4. Flower Arrangements: Engage in a hands-on floral workshop, tapping into creativity and mindfulness through the beauty of flowers.
5. Food Pairing with Rachel Martin, founder and creator of Oceano Zero: Discover the art of food pairing with a selection of non-alcoholic wines, enhancing your culinary experience.
6. Working with Elixirs: Drink making and the health benefits
7. Lunch/Food Trucks: An opportunity to mingle with other attendees, take a brain break, grab yourself a healthy lunch/early dinner.
8. "Happy Hour- A conversation about workplace drinking." Heather Lowe of "Ditched the Drink" walks you through how to properly navigate networking in a growing world of mindful drinkers.
9. Eat to Change How you Drink: Engage in conversation with Dr. Brooke Scheller as she talks you through her book, expertise in nutrition and the world of food and its relation to alcohol.
Panel Discussion (4:30 - 6 PM): Conclude the day with a thought-provoking panel discussion, facilitated by award winning sober coach Heather Lowe of "Ditched the Drink" accompanied by Dr. Brooke Scheller author of, "How to Eat to Change How You Drink", Laura Silverman, founder of Zero Proof Nation, and finally Casey Dolan, CEO/founder of The Roaring Social and Charlotte Beverage Distribution. The discussion will be focusing on the non-alcoholic community, past, present and future.
