DESCRIPTION
Building on the insights and practices from the Sacred Slumber workshop, this six-part series delves deeper into the sacred language of dreams. Fr. Daniel Renaud invites participants to explore dreams as a “night theatre”—a rich landscape shaped by personal experience, cultural memory, religious identity, and archetypal wisdom.
Together, we will discover how dreams can lead us toward wholeness, relational healing, and greater spiritual integration. While prior attendance in the spring workshop is not required, this series will expand upon foundational concepts and introduce advanced tools for both individual and group dreamwork.
Participants will:
- Deepen their understanding of recurring dreams, nightmares, dreams of death, and inner child themes
- Explore Jungian archetypes such as the Shadow, Self, anima/animus, and more
- Learn practical techniques for applying dream insights to spiritual growth, self-discovery and prayer
- Engage in both one-on-one and group dream processes
- Have the opportunity to participate in a free, optional 2-hour facilitator training (ideal for therapists, spiritual directors, or clinical professionals)
- Practice amplification techniques to continue the dialogue with dreams in waking life
- Develop a sense of the value of dreamwork to enhance communal life in Christian churches
Dreams, when shared in community, reveal multilayered meanings that open new paths for healing, creativity, and communion with the divine.
