Under the mentorship of K-pop luminary Suyoung Park, your path to stardom will unfold on the illustrious stage of the ESEA festival at Kingston, this September 7th. You will be performing a dance choreography that is uniquely tailored to reflect your personality and character!!!! That's correct, you will have your own style of choreography !

Each crew member will be featured in a promotional video before the performance, which will be professionally recorded and edited for personal promotion.

Timeframe:

• Start Date: July 22nd - 7th September
• Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:30PM-8:30PM (total of 12 sessions)

Program Style:

• The choreography is new style by mixing K-pop, contemporary dance with trandtional Korean instrument. The new style is created by celebrity choreographer Park Soo-young.
• The focus will be on practicing the choreography, understanding movements, and refining details.

Program schedule:

Day 1: 22nd July 2024 (2-hours)

• Introduction to the complete choreography
• Explanation of the dance style
• Study of the basic rhythm of the traditional Korean drum "Janggu," which will be played live by the choreographer during the dance
• Memorization of the choreography and repeated practice
• Understanding individual parts of the choreography, as each side differs

Day 2: 24th July (2-hours)

• Practice of the choreography
• Choreographer Park Soo-young will create personalized choreography for each participant based on their strengths and weaknesses, which they will practice individually

Day 3: 29th July (2-hours)

• Review of Day 1 and Day 2 choreography
• Completion of the choreography
• Choreographer will check each participant’s progress; others will practice the group dance

Day 4: 31st July (2-hours)

• Group dance practice and start of positioning
• Determination of stage positions based on individual performance (strong performers in the center, weaker ones at the back)

Day 5: 7th August (2-hours)

• Group dance and individual choreography positioning

Day 6: 12th August (2-hours)

• Group dance practice, entrance, and exit rehearsals
• Recording the rehearsal with a camera for mid-term review
• Detailed practice of the choreography
• Focus on the angles of hands and body, and leg movements to achieve a higher level of precision

Day 7: 14th August (2-hours)

Practicing Choreography Details

Focus on refining the most crucial details in group dance (hand and body angles, leg movements) together to elevate the performance to a higher level.

Day 8: 19th August (2-hours)

First Full Stage Rehearsal

Conduct an internal first full stage rehearsal and record the performance. The choreographer will then provide feedback to the participants.

Day 9: 21st August (2-hours)

Dry Rehearsal

Conduct a rehearsal in full costume.

Day 10: 4th September. (2-hours)

Outdoor Filming

Filming the performance in the style of a music video. This footage will be used for promotional materials by the Dream maker team.

Day 11: 6th September (2-hours)

Final Rehearsal Before the Performance

Conduct a final rehearsal in full costume, focusing on the overall flow and individual physical conditions. Instead of intensive practice, this session will emphasize checking each performer's state and mindset before the show, fostering mutual support and reflecting on personal growth throughout the program.

Day 12: Dream making performance

• Date: September 7, 2024 (exact time TBD)
• Performance: 8 AM - 3 PM (estimated)
• Your star day: supported by a professional hair, makeup, and camera crew to capture your dreamy moment for your future promotion
