Event Detail
Civil Art, in partnership with Drawwing Cabinet, is hosting a fundraising event at Elorea Los Angeles to provide equitable access to art education for API youth. The event will raise funds for two key initiatives:
- 50% of the proceeds will be allocated to grants for summer intensive art and exhibition programs for high school students, administered by Drawwing Cabinet.
- 50% of the proceeds will support the development of Learning Lab, an educational video series co-created by Civil Art and Drawwing Cabinet. Learning Lab will provide free online educational video lessons and utilize these materials to conduct in-person lectures + workshops for youth groups in Los Angeles and New York.
[VIP hour] will include a program where artists, designers, and creatives (Wonny Lee & Su Min Park, Jenny Eom, Devin Kang, and David Wynn), who are featured in Night Market: The Exchange of Dreams, Civil Art’s second print publication, share insights into their creative practices and personal journeys.
[All guests] will receive a complimentary pre-purchase of the Night Market: The Exchange of Dreams with the purchase of an admission ticket. Complimentary pre-purchase of books will be fulfilled in August 2025. The first 100 copies present at the event will be for early supporters and for display only. Learn more about Night Market: The Exchange of Dreams here.
This vibrant event will highlight Civil Art’s philanthropic mission while raising awareness for all participating brands, organizations, and individuals. It will also provide Los Angeles' creative community with a unique opportunity to network with Civil Art’s esteemed patrons, artists, and industry leaders.
