About this Event
Looking at the fall of the Modern American Dream through the lens of Ancient Greek Tragedy, TERAΣ revolves around two siblings who grow up on a remote Mediterranean island.
2004
All of Greece is aglow with the prestige of the Athens Olympics. On Teras island, Young Barbara chooses to send her little brother, Tom, as far away from their dangerously homophobic homeland as she can — staying on in his place to take care of their father's soon-to-be-born, illegitimate child.
2025
Tom returns to Teras, now escaping the U.S., with his newly wed American husband. They find the family home in shambles, and Tom's half-sibling, Geri, struggling with gender identity issues. While Barbara asks Tom to finally repay her for what she did for him 20 summers ago — by helping her to K*ll their father.
