About this Event
Come join us at Plaza Art – Rockville with artist Dana Zatman for a fun and creative 6-session Drawing Workshop focusing on nature inspired compositions.
Want to beat the winter doldrums? Come out and play! This class is for everyone. You will start with some drawing exercises. Don’t worry if you feel like you “can’t draw.” Dana will take the fear out of drawing. Then you will learn about composition, color and combining paint with other mediums such as markers, pens and pencils. You will fill your artwork with vibrant layers and patterns. Think of leaves, flowers and birds soaring through your artwork. You will create multiple finished pieces.
For the first class, please be sure to arrive with something to write on such as a sketchbook or loose paper, a pencil, and your favorite pens/markers. We will discuss other supplies at the first class.
