Mother figures of all types are welcome!
Lost your Mum? You are welcome to come a long and create a drawing from memory or photo.
It’s suitable for adults and children aged 5+ and parents must supervise their children throughout. If you have any special accessibility needs, please email [email protected].
The workshop will be led by Ikesha Avo and is part of the Carib Eats residency at the Black Cultural Centre in Islington.
Ikesha Avo, an artist based in London and a recent graduate of the Royal Drawing School. She’s passionate about community and collective art making within families. Ikesha also runs Picturing Dad, a workshop where fathers and children paint each other for Father’s Day.
