Drawing Dinosaurs with Emma Theresa Jude (ages 16+)

Join artist and geologist @emmatheresaartist for an observational drawing workshop at Crystal Palace Park. We'll be responding to the dinosaurs as sculptural forms, as well as science communication objects. We will be working from scale models of the dinosaurs, provided by Friends of Crystal Palace Dinosaurs, both as 3D objects and as digital sculptures, to create sketches as accurate, or abstract, as you like!

All skill levels welcomed from seasoned sketchers to complete beginners.

All materials will be included, along with visual references and books to inspire you.

This session is for ages 16+ (there is a separate family session on 15 November)

Due to the ongoing contruction works at the Geological Court, this event will take place inside the upstairs room above Brown and Green Life cafe, working from photographs of the dinosaurs. The room will be heated but warm clothing is advisable. The space is a step-free venue accessed via a bridge and there is some uneven paths and flooring.
