Drama classes for Pre-teens 9-11 years old are focused on storytelling, vocal and physical work and creating collaboratively.Pre-teens will be staging short scenes and explore different types of plays. We will be creating small pieces of theatre to present at the end of the term. Taking place in a beautiful theatre setting and a creative, vibrant community atmosphere, our classes conclude with a showcase performance giving the children a chance to put what they have learned into practice and gain valuable stage experience in front of an audience in a professional theatre.
Term 1: Storytelling and Scenes
For the first term our focus is on developing participant’s physical and verbal skills through storytelling and improv exercises. Children will learn about staging through creating short scenes.
• Suitable for ages 9-11 years old
• Limited participants per class ensuring personalised attention
• Over 16 hours of tuition including stage-time in a professional theatre
