A wild romp through the annals of the mind of local micro-legend and macro-diva Pangaea. Step inside her ever-expanding universe as she wiggles through music, movement, and stories both true and questionably true. Expect spectacle. Expect feelings. Expect the unexpected. Join her for an evening where reality loosens its hips and everything—absolutely everything—might happen but also might not.
Pangaea is a multifaceted Bay Area artist. As a mixed Black trans woman, she infuses her lived experiences into her singing, writing, costuming and set design, drag, and activism. Her work works to uplift Black and Brown, trans, and queer artists, by helping to build vibrant, inclusive creative spaces. She’s also one-fourth of the Bay Area collective The House of Perception.
You might recognize Pangaea from her past stellar performances in Time of Change (2021) and As We Go (2023). She also performed in our recent launch of the Gathering Room Series this past April 2025 with her It would be funny, if it was.
Back for round two, the fabulous and unstoppable DJ ori diwa returns to soundtrack the night! ori diwa is the DJ moniker of choreographer, performance artist, and curator jose e. abad. Their sound hybridizes rhythms and styles influenced by their global travels, queer nightlife, and ancestral lineages.
