About this Event
Join Us for Dr. Wajid Akhter: How To Have A Revolutionary Ramadan?
Ramadan was never meant to be passive. It was never meant to be quiet self-improvement tucked away in private corners. Ramadan built people who changed the world.
With Dr Wajid Akhter from muslim Council of Britain, we’ll journey through the moments in Islamic history where Ramadan became a catalyst — where hearts were purified, yes, but also where courage was born, justice was pursued, and communities were transformed.
What does it mean for us today? In London. In 2026. In our own struggles, careers, families, and communities. How do we move from simply fasting… to becoming people of impact?
This evening at Kismet is for those who don’t want to “just get through” Ramadan. It’s for those who want to leave it different. Clearer. Braver. More intentional. Come with your questions. Come with your restlessness. Come ready to rethink what this month can actually do to a human being. Let this be the Ramadan where something shifts. Book your place. Bring someone who’s ready to grow.
This one will stay with you.
