Join us on in person (in Kennedy Seminar Room10, UoKC) or online (via Teams invite) the 15th of May for the book launch of Dr Conor Heaney's two books: ‘Contemporary Capitalism and Mental Health: Rhythms of Everyday Life’ (Edinburgh University Press, 2024) and ‘Rhythm: New Trajectories in Law’ (Routledge, 2023). Conor will present these as part of his work to renew the rhythmanalytical project of Henri Lefebvre with our head of school, Dr Iain MacKenzie, chairing a Q&A session after. For those attending in person, will have drinks at KBar afterwards to celebrate Conor's work, as well as the political theory done in the department this year. Please come along!
This will be the culmination of the 2nd Annual University of Kent Workshops in Political Theory, and we'd love for you to attend those as well!
