An opportunity to explore a variety of planned activities arranged by Dr Bells.
About this Event

This group is only open to families living within EH6/EH7 with at least one child 10 months- 5 years old (up until their 6th birthday).

Nurture & Natter takes place weekly in our centre and is suitable for children 10 months plus. The session will run from 1pm - 2pm and each week will vary with regards to topics/activities. Parents/carers are welcome to stay for a tea/coffee in the hub following the activity, however this will not be facilitated by staff. If you turn up for the session any later than 15 minutes into it starting you will not be able to attend the session.

Please note that you can attend with or without your child.

Upcoming dates include:

14/01/26 - Come a long to a yoga class from yoga teacher Jackie Douglas for you and your little one. Connect with your child in new ways and relax while they play or join in!

21/01/26 - Let’s celebrate Burns night with a wide range of sensory activities – Resources that will be set out will include messy things such as rice, shaving foam, cloud dough, lentils and paint.

28/01/26 - Georgia a nutritionist from ECF will be joining us for a fussy eating workshop. Come along with your little one with any questions you might have!

04/02/26 - Meet us at the joy tots café at 1pm on ferry road for cake and a play!

25/02/26 - Come a long to learn about the benefits of loose parts in play. Our Loose Parts play session invites children to play with open ended materials and natural objects.

04/03/26 - Join us to celebrate the ending of Chinese New Year through sensory activities and child led play.

11/03/26 - Mother's Day craft! A warm creative space filled with Mother's Day inspired craft resources to make with your little one.

18/03/26 - Join us for sensory fun as we celebrate st Patrick’s day with a wide range of green, gold and glittery fun.

25/03/26 - Introduce your child to the fun of science through pouring, splashing, sorting and exploring different textures.

01/04/26 - Join us at the turtle dove café for a cake, cuppa and play. Meet us at Turtle Dove, 31 Corbiehill Road, EH4 5BQ, accessible via the 21 bus.

Please note that this group is free, however we do appreciate donations when possible. Donations are non-refundable.
