The Portage County Master Gardeners in collaboration with Davey Tree Expert Company and 100 Women Who Care are excited to host Doug Tallamy for an in-person lecture and book signing at Davey SEED Campus.

Check in starts at 9 am, light refreshments will be available. If you would like a book signed please feel free to bring your own, as there will be not be books for sale at the event.

Dr. Tallamy’s research has profoundly advanced the general public’s understanding of how native plants sustain ecosystem function. Doug’s gift to his readers and to the planet is his ability to translate complex ecological concepts into a clear call to action. His books and presentations provide the information and inspiration for his audience to restore biodiversity one yard at a time.

Presenting questions from readers that make up his newest book, ‘How Can I Help?’ Dr. Tallamy will address as many queries as he can with the hope that he can further motivate people to help restore ecosystem function where they live, work, play, worship, and farm.
