UNTERTONE is Carpe DM's most minimal, yet most revealing work.
Two performers step onto an empty stage with no script, no premise, and no plan - only each other. Without games or format, the performance explores subtext, silence, and the subtle dynamics that shape human connection. Each performance becomes a unique encounter driven by presence, relationship, and what lies beneath the words. And each performance can only happen once.
Before Carpe DM take the stage, their workshop students will showcase what they've learnt in the workshops David and Maria have taught in the week before the show.
