DOSA FC 50th anniversary celebration
This year marks the 50th anniversary of our beloved Club and to mark the occasion a celebration will be held on Friday, 5 June 2026.
The Club cordially invites all players, past and present, along with partners and supporters to an evening of memories and acknowledgement. The evening will be about us – the people who have contributed to the club.
A lot of people don’t ‘do’ social media, so please get the word about this great night.
THE NIGHT
The plan is to have a few formalities during the dinner service but we want guests to have time to enjoy each other’s company and to catch up. After dinner there will be DJ’s providing the tunes.
We will acknowledge the Team of the Quarter Century 1976-2000 by telling a few stories from the era and presenting the players with retrospective medals.
Then we will proudly announce our Team of the Quarter Century 2001 -2025 and tell you why they were picked and present them with medals.
The Club will also auction two customised jumpers with one featuring the team of 1976 – 2000 in their positions and the other jumper will feature the team from 2001 – 2025.
There will also be a mystery raffle with some great prizes.
WHERE AND WHEN
The function will be held at the Elwick Racecourse Functions and Events Centre, 6 Goodwood Rd, Glenorchy, 7010.
Doors open at 6:30pm. with formalities kicking off at 7:00pm. Kick out is at 11:30pm.
COST
The cost is $140 per person plus a booking fee. There are no other ticket options.
This includes a two-course meal and cake. Basic drinks consisting of beer, wine and soft drinks from 6:30pm to 10:30pm are included in the price.
You will have to pay for drinks from 10:30pm to 11:30pm.

Tickets are available via a link available on the DOSA Football Club’s Facebook page.

When booking, Humanitix allows you to select a seat at a table. Remember your table number and have your friends book at seat at your table.
Table size is 10 people. There are 22 tables set up in the ticketing app but we may add or subtract tables, if we need.
You may be contacted as a follow up regarding seating arrangements.

MEALS
Entrée consists of:
Free range chicken, mushroom and leek filo with green beans
Charred lamb loin on puy lentil salad with salsa verde (gf)
Mains are:
Chargrilled Longford scotch fillet with garlic mash, asparagus, red onion and cabernet jus (gf)
Twice cooked Tasmanian pork belly with candied bacon sprouts, roast apple and Willie Smith organic cider jus
When booking please specify any dietary requirements you may have. We will do what we can to accommodate you. Dietary requirements must be advised by the close of ticket sales on Monday 25 May 2026.
PAST PLAYERS INFO
As part of ticketing, we will be collecting contact information consisting of name, email and mobile. This is for the purpose sorting seating arrangements and will also be used to improve our past player information.
