The Mardi Gras Gala serves as the signature fundraising event for the Crown Jewels (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. Our focus and impact yields Scholarships, Crowning Achievement Awards and Community Facet Programs, which include Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, & Health and Human Services.
King & Queen
We are pleased to honor Eugene and Lauren Woods as the celebrated 2025 Mardi Gras Gala King and Queen. Eugene A. Woods is the Chief Executive Officer of Advocate Health - created from the combination of Advocate Aurora Health and Atrium Health. Lauren Dominique Woods is the Senior Vice President of Branding, Marketing, and Communications at Bright Hope Capital.
