Son Y Fuerza is the newest Cuban Timba band in Melbourne, bringing you some seriously deep grooves and the hippest tunes for dancers and listeners of Música Cubana. Co-Led by Ollie Shute and Lachlan Smith, who have been fortunate enough to play in many of the top Latin/Salsa/Timba bands in Melbourne, are now ready to bring their own project to life and stamp their mark in the scene! For their debut performance at The Night Cat, Son Y Fuerza will be playing all the classics from the old school Timba legends such as Los Van Van, Manolito Y Su Trabuco and Pupy Y Los Que Son Son to the more modern powerhouses of Havana D Primera and Alain Pérez, plus many more...
Whether you are a regular or a first-time dancer, we will be bringing the heat and making sure the tunes are pumping all night long!!!
