Note: Each student must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for these sessions. This event is only open to students in Years 11-13.

Interactive Workshops:

• Interview Simulation: Watch real med students re-enact interviews (MMI, panel, semi-structured)

Admissions Pathways Explained: Get clear on UCAT, NCEA and other academic curriculums, and interview requirements for top universities in New Zealand, Australia and the UK, including hidden pathways and smart strategies.

A Day in the Life of a Med Student: Hear from current med students about what studying medicine is really like, the highs, the hustle, and the balance.

Following our introductory session and lunch break, the afternoon transitions into tailored sessions for parents and students. This ensures everyone walks away with the specific strategy they need. Here’s the breakdown:

• Parents: From 1:15 PM – 2:15 PM, parents join a deep dive into the Admissions Roadmap and support strategies. Once the session wraps, you are more than welcome to stay and observe the student workshops in action.
• Students: Running from 1:15 PM – 3:15 PM, students move through three high-impact workshops: Clinical Skills, UCAT Strategy, and Interview Prep. Our small-group format ensures every student gets hands-on with all three areas before the day is done.

Info: Step inside the interview room before the big day. In this interactive role-play session, current medical students will guide you through exactly how a real medical school interview works. You’ll watch live examples, learn what interviewers are looking for, and practise strategies to answer with confidence.
