About this Event

Dmitry Yudin was born in Moscow on May 16, 2001. Between 2008 and 2019, he studied with Professor Lydia Grigoryeva at the Moscow Gnessin School of Music.

Dmitry has given solo recitals across Russia and abroad. His performance record includes concerts with orchestras such as the Baltic States Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Baltic Music Academy Symphony Orchestra, the Musica Viva Moscow Chamber Orchestra, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia,
the St. Petersburg State Academic Symphony Orchestra, and the Tomsk Academic Symphony Orchestra.

Starting in August 2019, Dmitry had been studying with Horacio Gutierrez at the Manhattan School of Music, where he was awarded a full scholarship. During the pandemic, he gave several virtual solo recitals at MSM.

Lately, Dmitry has participated in numerous national and international competitions and festivals, winning prizes and gaining recognition from audiences at several international events.

In February 2022, Yudin became the winner of the MSM Eisenberg-Freid Concerto Competition with Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No.2. He performed the Concerto with maestro George Manahan in September 2022.

In 2023, Yudin played the recital in Boston after winning the HMA Foote Award, won third prize in the New York Concert Artists Auditions in August, and the second prize in the Wideman Concerto Competition in Shreveport, Louisiana (December 2023). Among Yudin’s most recent musical accomplishments is the Second Prize in the Geza Anda International Piano Competition (Zurich, Switzerland, 2024).

In March 2025, Yudin made a debut at the prestigious Miami Piano Festival, which was highly praised. Another one of Yudin’s most noteworthy achievements was collaborating with the Verbier Chamber Orchestra and Maestro Gábor Takács-Nagy in Tonhalle Hall, Switzerland, in September 2025.

Yudin has participated in masterclasses and lessons led by E. Korolev, V. Derevyanko, B. Berezovsky, B. Bloch, R. Goode, M. Voskresensky, J. Rose, S. Kovacevich, and A.Vardi.

Currently, he is studying under the tutelage of Stanislav Ioudenitch at Park University in Kansas City.
