Join Afro-Indo Jamaican author Djamil Ninsoo for an engaging storytime featuring his beloved children's books!


Djamil Ninsoo is a Jamaican cultural historian and children's author dedicated to preserving and interpreting cultural heritage with particular attention to Indo-Jamaican heritage and family microhistories. Through his work, he focuses on the transmission of culture through objects and storytelling.


During this special storytime, children and families will enjoy:


• Stories celebrating Jamaican family life, cultural heritage, and intergenerational bonds

• Culturally rooted narratives that introduce Jamaican foods, words, and traditions

• An interactive reading experience that helps young readers see how love, memory, and tradition shape who we become
