Ever dreamt of learning how to DJ? - Kickstart your career with our DJ course for beginners! The course is held for 4 participants, and when it's completed, you'll be capable of taking things further on from there by yourself.
During the course we will work ourselves through the following:
* Introduction to DJ gear
* Key matching
* Beat matching
* Basic mixing techniques
* Set preparation
We are going to use professional DJ gear from Pioneer (CDJ / DJM). No previous experience is needed to participate, and it doesn't matter what styles of music you're into either.
- The location for the course is the cozy bar and oasis for DJ culture called Bivac, on Andra Långgatan. We will have Bivac all for ourselves, so no worries, there'll be no audience. Jet :D

A little something about our instructor:
Bomström has 15 years of experience from professional DJing. He has performed in 7 different countries, and since 2017 he is a member of the DJ collective Locus Soundsystem, famous for the longest running club concept for underground deep house in the Nordics.
Bomström has neen teaching DJs for several years, both in private classes as well as for groups. He is furthermore a classically trained musician, who has taken classes in music pedagogics + studies in musicology at GU.
