Come learn the skills to create your one of a kind cyanotype print in a Historic Home of Oakland: Camron-Stanford House.
During this workshop class... Instructor Antonia will dive into the history of cyanotype printing as well as going over the steps for participants to create their compositions on fabric- All supplies are included! This is beginner-friendly and suitable for all ages! This workshop does not require previous knowledge. If you are looking for a space to get creative while soaking up rays of sun in a historic home of Oakland, this class is for you!
Participants are encouraged (but not requiered) to... Bring their dried flowers/ plants/ trinkets that they would like to have appear on their cyanotype.
Participants will leave with... One to three cyanotype prints.
About your Instructor... Antonia Lara Sanchez is a trained industrial designer with a BFA from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso, Chile. For the past six years, Antonia worked as a graphic design and photography teacher in schools throughout Providence, RI and Oakland, CA. She believes in the transformative and healing power of the arts and finds joy in sharing her knowledge with others. Antonia currently works as a full time artist, teaching crafty classes throughout the Bay Area.
